Welcome

The Triad SQL Business Intelligence Users Group is a forum where any one interested in the Microsoft business intelligence stack can meet to learn more about the product, share ideas and make contact with other similar individuals. Our group is run by Microsoft BI professionals for the benefit of anyone interested in participating in the group.

All of our meetings are free and open to anyone who is interested in sharing their knowledge of SQL Server. Our meetings are generally held on the last Tuesday of every month, unless otherwise noted. Pizza and drinks are provided.

Data Visualization

As we continue to collect larger datasets, we need to be able to effectively communicate a vast amount of information to others.  We’ll discuss why data visualization is important, how to be objective when presenting data, techniques for visualizing relationships, and characteristics of good data visualization.

Matt Clepper is Director of Application Development at Tanger Factory Outlet Centers.   With over 15 years of Finance and IT experience, Matt has helped organizations to effectively communicate datasets and results to stakeholders and shareholders alike.  Matt holds an MCITP in Business Intelligence from Microsoft, and is a Certified Management Accountant (CMA).
